Single string MOD Bender

The MOD bender is the only device that can work with an existing bridge to both raise and lower pitch to a set note. It allows you to raise pitch by either a half step or a whole step, or to lower pitch by a half step, depending on how you choose to string it up. This gives you access to those knee lever type pitch drops that other benders can’t do.

 It can also be mounted with very limited real estate: while the full length of the unit is just over 2”, it can be mounted with as little as ¾” behind the bridge. Additionally, because of its narrow single string width (just .41” wide) it can be mounted in places other benders can’t go, like nestled in the strings of a resonator guitar between the bridge and the tailpiece. That narrow footprint has other benefits as well. 

MOD is short for modular, and that's exactly what this new system is. At just .41 inches wide, roughly the string spacing of an average guitar, MOD benders will stack up right next to each other and won’t block neighboring strings. It gives you full flexibility to put bender on whichever strings you want, even if they aren’t next to one another, and it leaves you the option to add more on other strings at any time you want. For example, if you wanted a bender on strings 1 and 3, or say you opted to start with a simple B bender but then down the road you decide you want a G bender as well, most benders would be unable to accommodate, leaving you stuck - but with the MOD Bender it's no problem.  The modular nature means you can expand the system as you want to and are able. You may decide to start with just one or two strings, but you can add more at any time you like. To top it all off, you get all these features in a product that is all machined from billet aluminum right here in the USA. Its an awful lot for such a small package.
